Can I survive two weeks?

So we come to the end of an extended two weeks for the Vega families, and the last family of the WOOTO Dare. All in all the families did better than I had expected. As for the Vega families:


Santos is well on his way towards his LTW of marrying off 6 kids, they just need to have one more. Lola has made it to president of the company, and the kids are all sitting at plantinum.


Bronx's businesses are striving on; the home venue is a level 8, the Chili Witch is a level 4 and the Love Shack is a level 2. Sarina has aquired woohoo with 4 different sims and is working on friendships to lure more in.


As you can see, the neighborhood has blossomed. We have gone from 3 WOOTO Dare houses and the Black Widow home to 2 Dante, 2 Burton, 2 Vega, 2 Neilson, a Burton-Daily and the Widow's Web.

Santos and family have moved in to thier quaint 3 BR, 3 Bath, 2 car home with a pool. Sure its a tad small for their sized family, they have room to expand. The kid's bedroom is larger than the master bedroom and has 2 sets of bunkbeds and a twin bed in anticipation of their needs.


Hmm, I know Lola is a fortune sim... it just seems she is setting the standards a bit high for someone this young!

No sooner does River join the family, we have a much anticipated visitor bringing our newest arrival.

Coming back inside, we find River on the floor and Lola is demanding a nanny. Can't imagine why! Heh


Gee, from the looks of it we have a bitter nanny who had been left at the alter at sometime in her life.

The Wrap-up

Bronx’s LTW is five top businesses, he will get the home venue back once he finishes University and we have purchased him the Chili Witch. I love inviting his girlfriend over during non business hours. Easy customer stars!


Although from the look of Bronx’s face, I’m not sure he agrees. Heh!


Back home after graduation and Bronx invites Sarina over to move in and he proposes to her. I’m still not sure if these two will get married, but he needs a mate and an heir because I’m weird like that.


In the meantime, Bronx has purchased the Love Shack for his fiancé. She will put this newly acquired venue to good use. Turns out she has a LTW to woohoo with 20 different sims. It’s not easy, but it is doable. Getting things started we have #1 Gina.

Bronx transitions in to a good lookin young sim. I like the new duds along with the tats. Not sure if they suit his personality, but I like it... so he gets to keep it.
I confess, I used the university clock with this guy so he zips through in no time.


I did go through the motions of finding him a new love. Meet, um.. some girl that he adores and has a 2 bolt relationship with. I can't believe his luck, he gets a romance sim. Ugh, well that's okay; at this point I decide I'm either going to change her to grilled cheese or leave her be, it will depend on her LTW.


Yup its love! First date and they're smooching. I love that first kiss innocence.


I even opened a Greek house, not sure why. Just did it... and now that I think about it, I don't have even one picture of the house. How odd! Anyhow before graduation, I got Franz Thomas (in the green shirt) pledged, moved in and that other guy is a pledge and wow I don't remember his name either. I really need to take better notes!

Remembering the trouble ghosts are, I had immediately put Coqui’s headstone in Bronx's backpack and promptly forgot about it. Oops, so off to the downtown cemetery goes Santos to drop her off. Bye Coqui, sorry we didn’t get to know you better.


Temple transitions and poor Lola is wiped out at the table and misses the whole thing.


Welcome to the family Scarlet Vega. Gosh with a home business its a good thing she gave birth in the kitchen. As it is, they still tried to squeeze in to the corner!


England's turn to transition and with a make over and a new shirt. He's a cutie patootie.


Scarlet grows to a toddler and yeah she has Daddy's ears!


With Lola pregnant again, the house is getting crowded. Time for Bronx to go to University and do some growing up. I dont know if you can see his face very well or not, its just that Bronx always looks so sad, he breaks my heart!

No sooner did these two get hitched, they both rolled up a want to have a baby. I naturally locked those wants immediately. Santos wastes no time and calls the adoption agency who will be by at 10 am to drop off the first of 3 toddlers. Not only that, but we've managed to get Lola pregnant on their second try.


Aw we know what this means!

Santos makes it home with enough funds to finish building the house, make an extra room for him and Lola and dang, I forgot a room for the kids. Ah well, while they're toddlers they dont really need their own room yet.


Lola moves in with §7,000 and the oddest backpack, a panda child chair and the napkin holder sculpture. Okay that is just weird.


Time to get hitched! Lola do you? Santos do you?

Oh my, Santos cleans up well. With a little make-over and some new threads, he's one hot little number! Lets get some aspiration points so we can get through college. Time to call the matchmaker!


Matchmaker, Matchmaker make me a match! Helo Lola... something or other soon to be Vega. Let's get this date over with, Santos needs aspiration and class starts in a few hours.


Oh yeah, we are plantinum now baby!

As most know, this family starts out with the mom, 2 teen-aged boys, and 3 toddlers. First things first, everyone needs to relieve themselves, so I create a couple of bathrooms and put out 3 potties. Toddlers first, each grabs a kid and puts ‘em on a pot. This is going to be some work, I can tell already. Group effort, everyone is relieved. Oops look at the time, kids are gonna miss school, lickity split and a click or two; we have a driveway and a cheap car, go to school boys!

I created a room for the toddlers and made one of the bathrooms large enough to put the phone in so it wont wake up the others in the middle of the night. We started out with a decent amount of cash on hand that I wont make anyone go to work right away, at least not until the toddlers transition. Good ol’ Coqui helped the boys study and is wearing herself out trying to keep up with the toddlers. The boys aren’t much help really. They’re typical teens and think only of themselves.


Poor Coqui, this is horrible! The boys are at school, and no one can use the phone to call for a nanny!


Oh crud balls, the babies are alone at the house. Someone save Coqui, save the babies. I hadn’t taken any pictures previously to this because who knew this was going to happen? I thought for sure I had more time to take photos! And I just gave her a makeover, she was so pretty!


Unfortunately no one is home to save them, and in swoops Social Services. At this point, I am seriously tempted to back out of this home and not save… but I’m a real simmer and I just will not do that. Bye kids, sorry I failed you.


Santos took a huge hit on his aspiration and I need to do something fast. Once they get home from school, I immediately send him downtown to meet people. Let’s hope he can fall in love because seriously this boy is bottomed out! Oh he can buy a handheld game; that will give him some help. Let’s go shopping kid! Oh this picture? It just really cracked me up.


I’ve introduced a few love interest options to Santos, my favorite for him would be Erin Samuels, she’s gorgeous, and she’s the right age, only she is also living with her mother the lovely Black Widow. The other options at this time are Morgan Anders who for some reason is very upset with him (she comes to steal the paper & kicks over the trash can), Paige Thomas, and Kayla Dante. Of the four options, he is not friends with any of them, and he’s only attracted to Morgan who hates him. Great, just fabulous… time to create a new strategy.

Here’s my game plan:

Santos will go to college, find a woman to marry and come home so he can adopt his little sisters & little brother back. He wants to marry off 6 kids so adopting three will be a good start.
Bronx on the other hand is a popularity sim who for some odd reason wants to own 5 top businesses. What? Yeah okay whatever. He opens a home business venue and its currently at level 2. Man I am so bad at the business end. Glad this isn't my prosperity challenge!

You may remember back at the Dante house Leeland was at risk of failing high school. After week one he was sitting on a D- and the odds were stacked against him. I opted to send him off to college to try his luck there. As you can see, Leeland makes a handsome young adult. Let’s just hope he has better results with the ladies.


Joining him in the dorms is Leeland's little sister, Sasha. Since she started this dare with a Mohawk, I found it fitting to keep it. Not everyone can get away with it and she is still lovely in spite of the odd hairdo.


These two have finally matured enough to make amends. Leeland has not yet forgiven his mother, but they have at least called a truce between these two.


Oh man, a fight! Was I wrong? Did they not make amends?

Nope there they are on the phone just getting back from class. It must be two other roomies fighting. Well done Dante kids!
