Can I survive two weeks?

We have come to the end of the two weeks and there is so much more these kids can accomplish. In line with their wants / fears / aspirations I have decided their fates. Okay most of them at any rate. Rosario is the fortune sim who wants the pets, so we adopt her first. This is Abbey and other than some behavior problems, she is fully trained and currently in the security field. Rosario will stay here and grow up taking care of the homestead.


You see, I've never played with the pets long enough to see one through their career, let alone 6 so I'm intruiged and want to try to help Rosario get her LTW before sending her to the NPC land of townies.


Rosario had gone shopping for Abbey's collar and is seen talking with Robert and gosh I think they will make a cute baby. Maybe she will have a kid first. Time will tell and I will need to tweak her likes/dislikes.


As for the quad kids:
Carmen and Dolores are knowledge sims and will join Javier in the YA NPC pool at Aridia University.
Daniel is a family sim who will stay with Rosario long enough to grow up and then become a downtownie.
Mercedes is romance and I haven't decided if she will be a teen townie or an adult townie.

Hey Mercedes, did you ever hear what happened to Leeland Dante when he made faces like that? He stayed like that for days. You may want to stop that! HA! I can’t believe that poor kid was "noogied" by the same sister (Carmen) twice in a row. Why does she fall for it every time?


Its getting close to Javier’s time to grow up to an adult. I have decided he has worked much too hard keeping the others from being taken away that he deserves the fun to be had in university. After checking for any scholarships he may have earned some of the girls jump out of bed to say good-bye.


One last look at a sweet and handsome young man. Good luck at Aridia University Javier. You’ll be joining the NPC pool soon along with the Dante sisters (Kayla & Carrie).

Oh hey so all of the girls managed to get a good-bye in to Javier. It was only Daniel that was too lazy to get out of bed to see him off.

Carmen and Zuan Robbins have been friends since she was a toddler. The guy calls and chats with his little friend on the phone every other day. I would be concerned if this weren’t a game.


Every day it’s the same routine. The kids come home from school, take a dip in the pool/play, eat, bathe, nap for 2 hours and do their homework! All but Carmen have an A+ grade at school… even though her grades are improving.


After that fiasco in the pool before school, I added 2 more ladders and make them dance around before school instead of swim. I find it easier to send them to school in a good mood with lots of fun, easier to raise thier fun when they get home, too. Oh and to make loading the bus time shorter, I have the two oldest ones drive to school.


Oh I had to share this picture because this is a first for me. Chaos came to visit with Geoffrey one night. It took some work before he would play with Rosario. I had forgotten about encouraging him to be hostile to others. Heh, oopsie!


This is Rosario’s favorite place to be. She loves that easel and is an accomplished little artist! She hasn’t maxed her creativity yet, but she sure is close.


Oh joy of joys, Carmen has finally brought home an A+ report card! Nice job Carmen. Now go in the back yard and join your siblings for some dancing till your 6pm transition time.

Taking a last look at the children who were such a headache to their big brother Javier (and me!). Everyone ready? Okay 1, 2, 3, bend, twirl and jump! Woohoo that was fun, now one at a time please head for the mirror for a much needed make over and stats verification.

The home business is doing quite well. It is money well invested. Now that the youngest ones are children it is time to expand a bit. There is still no flooring or paint… we just added a second bathroom and a pool for some good fun for all.
This was a bit of a miscalculation on my part. Here we are nearing the end of week 1, it is early Friday morning and the kids are having a grand time swimming waiting for the bus to arrive when suddenly… it arrives and silly me with only one ladder and 6 kids trying to get to the school bus! Ugh, why didn’t I think this one through? Poor Carmen missed the bus Friday morning and I had to watch pop up after pop up lecture me on her grades and the idle threat of social services coming if her grades didn’t improve all weekend.


Yeah Javier! You rock kid, I love this boy! Not only did he manage to struggle through teaching each of his siblings how to study. He manages to get himself an A+ and then cheers for himself. Okay that last part is kinda sad really… for what it’s worth Javier, I cheered with you.


Dude, what’s with your girlfriend? Doesn’t she get enough food at home?


Okay that is just gross!


On the other hand, if she keeps bringing gifts like this we can over look the trash munching… or at least look the other way when she does it.


Time for another transition! Nicely done Rosario, she’s definitely a looker. Quick run to the mirror, I love the outfit & hair, but let’s put some color on that bland face shall we?

Once I managed to survive two weeks with the Vega, Burton and Dante families instead of being let off the hook, I was lured by Felicia in to another family that was, if you can imagine, just about worse than the other three combined. While the Dante family had their squabbling and Jenn's Vega family had lots of kids, they at least had an adult within their midst. This Vega family does not and I don’t know about you, but 1. I'm not great with more than 1 toddler at a time let alone 4 and 2. juggling 4 toddlers, a child & a teen almost made me want to throw my computer out the window.


Upon opening the home I was greeted with a view of Sir Reaper himself and an amusing pop up. Unfortunately without a proper photo shop program, I could not c/p the screen to share with you the humorous pop up. Suffice it to say it was hilarious and gosh I never knew Death was a Taurus. In order to keep the toddlers’ spirits up, the first thing I did was grab the headstone and throw it in Javier’s backpack for safe keeping; and bought each of them a rabbit head. Once the toddlers are occupied, I send Rosario to paint and have Javier open a home venue. Priorities after all, can’t keep Javier in school if we don’t have someone watching over the toddlers during school hours.


Unfortunately the nanny wasn’t fabulous as you can plainly see. On the other hand, she served her purpose which was to keep the toddlers from being taken by social services. Did I mention that the first day on the lot started at 9 am on a Monday? So you can understand why buying a driveway & car was so important. It is going to be hard enough getting Javier to do his homework, the last thing I need is for him to start off these 2 weeks missing school.


Ah, I know what this means. Our first customer star! How odd is it that each toddler had the same wants, be toilet trained, learn to talk, learn to walk and a customer gets a star? Well I guess they’re not quads for nothing! I personally found this extremely odd, but was thrilled they all went plat together.


Javier is a struggling - awesome big brother. He napped when he could and took care of his younger siblings. Granted not one of the toddlers learned their basic skills, but he did manage to teach Rosario how to study late their first night.


I found it easier to keep the toddlers in line… literally. Unfortunately once the walls started going up, it posed a problem and as you can see, the nanny got stuck. Aw cause you are such a good nanny we’re going to let you live. Heh, not… only I did end up letting her live because she was the only adult supervision at the time.


Oh my, creepy old man alert. Watch the children, hide the vampires its Sonny Day coming to visit. For the most part he ran on the treadmill and kept to himself.


Yeah, woohoo, way to go Rosario! First A+ in the house. Are we surprised it was Rosario and not Javier? No, not really. I’m just glad the boy isn’t failing. Once the little ones transition, he’ll do better I’m sure.


Time for the quads to grow up… finally!


Tada, and there they are. Whew we survived so far… okay I’m really getting tired of the hair don'ts on these girls… head to the mirror! Now is a good time for our boy Javier to get some romancing in, let’s call up his one and only love interest Bella Board from the TSR Challenges.


Love is definitely in the air and let’s see if she will oblige our lover boy…

Yeah baby, we have our first kiss… well done and a dream date to boot. Lovely, that means an easy §55 towards something well deserved for this family.
